Zulla is a 6oz washed-rind cheese much in the style of a French Muenster or Italian Taleggio. The outer rind formed with B. Linens gives off a gentle yellow-orange hue and an aroma of deep earth and soil while still remaining approachable. Inside, this cheese is creamy and smooth in texture much like the Round Hill Camembert, but distinct cultures and intense affinage practices yield a real gem for cheese lovers. Uniquely, this cheese works as a standalone but also pairs extremely well with bubbles- beers, champagnes, pet nat style wines, etc. Savory, fermented flavors and meats best compliment our washed rind.
