Nothing like a whole beef filet sizzling on the grill—tender, juicy, and kissed with smoky flavor. Here’s how we do it at Fields of Athenry.
Bring it to Room Temp – Let your filet sit out for about an hour so it grills evenly.
Season Like You Mean It – Marinade it in your favorite marinade with salt and pepper.
Sear Over High Heat – Place the filet directly over high heat for 2–3 minutes per side to lock in flavor and get those gorgeous grill marks.
Finish Over a Lower Heat
– Move it to a cooler part of the grill, close the lid, and cook slowly
until it reaches your desired temperature. 125F-130F for medium rare.
Rest, Then Slice – Let it rest 15 minutes before carving to keep every bite tender and juicy.
From Farm to Feast - Happy Grilling!
